The Legislative Branch
The first established branch of the US government is the Legislative Branch. This branch was established in the first article of the Constitution. The purpose of this branch is to create laws that will protect and better the country. The Legislative branch is often called congress which contains of the two houses; the Senate and House of Representatives.
