The Articles of the Constitution...NOT Confederation.
Be sure to remember that these are the seven (7) articles of the CONSTITUTION, and NOT the Articles of Confederation. It can be easy to mix the two up because they sound so similar, but there is a huge difference between the two of them! The Articles of Confederation was the first form of government after the US had split from Great Britain, and that government didn't do so well, but the Articles of the Constitution are articles in the new form of government established at the Constitutional Convention which we still use to this day.
What are they?
The articles of the constitution are the main layout of how the government is supposed to work. They tell us the form of how we should elect government officials like Senators and the President.
