What are the amendments?
The amendments are changes made to the constitution in order to better serve the American people. Currently there are twenty-seven amendments, the first ten are called the Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights are irrevocable rights to American citizens, they grant us many freedoms and liberties such as freedom of speech and religion. The last seventeen amendments have no special name other than amendments.
